Would be interested to know how much they paid for this. Look at the photos and spot the WOF. Well here's the story for unsuspecting car buyer's Don't get a car from this place. The WOF was not worth the piece of paper it is written on the car I got from them was unsafe to use on the road as the front suspension bushes were worn out which is an immediate WOF FAIL. So why is he aloud to sell unsafe cars well that is something i have taken up with nzta and vtnz. So if you have bought a car from this guy have it rechecked .
Run! I only place bad reviews when really deserving as I know what they can mean for businesses, but Coogo definitely deserves one. Dodgy dealing all around, car was available and a deposit paid and then all of a sudden the Coogo staff member tries to claim the cars a lemon and it won't turn on, despite test driving it a couple of days earlier and not showing any signs of issues. Obviously things to hide! Wouldn't trust them with $5.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Had a bad feeling turning up to the place and should have gone with my gut and run a mile. The issues with the car I bought are too long to list here. Frankly I'm embarrassed for myself that I got suckered. Needless to say, 6 months later I'm onto my third mechanic repairing different things, conservatively up to about 8 costly items. For a European car imported from Singapore with only 60,000 kms something is very fishy. This is on top of the work I requested they do pre-purchase. On that note, don't let them send the car to their mechanic for work pre purchase. They are just as bad.
If you’re an out of town buyer then don’t trust them. I was interested in this car. I paid 200 dollars for a first AA appraisal that picked issues with the air conditioner not cooling. The issue itself was flagged in the Japanese auction sheet. So they knew about it and told me it was just a gas top up. Anyways, they then told me it needed the condenser fixed and the car was at the workshop “getting repaired”. While it was “getting repaired “ Terry asked me if I could just fix the issue myself using my purchased mechanical warranty once I received the car. I rejected. A few days later he sent me a photo of the supposed faulty part, a sensor and not a condenser. Two weeks later and the car was still in the garage. Then they told me the car was ready. I almost made a payment but then decided I better have it checked again....so I requested another aa appraisal, paying another 60 for recheck. The same issue was flagged yet again. They’ve not texted me to follow up or anything. I guess because they knew they didn’t fix it. So, I lost 260 dollars in what should’ve been an honest and hassle free buying experience. I’ve a decent experience and I only owned cars of this particular brand I wanted to buy fro them. Alas coogo auto lost my business and my trust. I’m leaving this feedback with the advice that you got to do your due diligence before buying a vehicle and don’t trust anything being said by a sales person.
Shocking customer service. Turned up car was nothing like the photos looked immaculate on trademe . Multiple faults hazards. Car was advertised as fresh wof cambelt and rego new tires neither of these statements were found to be true. Old tires cambelt 60,000km old. Car had to be jump started. Car had crash repairs and damage, fire wall sagging from damp. Despite this was willing to come to a deal with all things considered. However i was simply walked away from apon giving my offer no attempt to come to a deal. Seemed as if i had insulted them for not wanting to pay top dollar for an obvious lemon. Do yourself a favor...... Run Please.
The worst vehicle purchase experience in all my life and I've bought and sold cars for 50 years, this is the first time I've bought a lemon and then had to fight to get a refund. I got my refund in the finish after two weeks arguing and then involving my mechanic and a number of motor trade people.
What a fabulous experience with Arlen and Harrey! They are the best car sales people I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. Really appreciate their assistance in the purchase. Go check out their dealership now!
Felt nervous about coming as first time buying from a dealership. There was confusion and very little space to park but i was quickly greeted by terry who helped me where to park and then was warm, welcoming and friendly as I startedexplaining what car l was after.Test driving a few was easy and comfortable.Ended up walking out with the car l wanted before seeing it.Terry was easy to deal with, explained things well and made surel understand all the process.Other people in the office were warm and friendly and participated in general chat.I got a very comfortable feeling from being there.Thank you for making the experience a pleasant one.also very professional in dealing with the sale.Thank you
Worst experience of my life. Never trust the guy who called Arlen. He is very unprofessional and irresponsible. Never give the car to him to sell or never repair or buy your car here.
