Community Acupuncture Oamaru is run in a meeting room for one afternoon a week. Elise the Acupuncturist treats patients in comfortable reclining chairs. There may be other people receiving treatment at the same time as you, or coming and going while you're being treating. Elise will get you to fill in a consent form and health form, and she may ask you a few questions. She will also take the pulse on your wrist and look at your tongue. Then you get to sit back and relax with the needles gently in place.
At the end you choose to pay between $15 and $40 for your treatment. Elise may suggest that you come back for more treatments, depending on your condition.
