What a great gem this place is. We were visiting Katikati from Waihi beach today and stopped here for lunch. We had our dog with us and fortunately we were allowed to sit with her outside under a nice umbrella covered table. We ordered a variety of things and each and every item was amazing. We had the chicken and mushroom pie, mince and cheese pie, beef and bacon burger, club sammie, mince on toast, french toast maple syrup with bacon and bananas and 2 smoothies and a milk shake. The food was prepared with care and had such good flavours. The mince on toast was outstanding. The pies had a crispy pastry with such tasty and generous fillings. Thank you for a lovely meal.
Great coffee. Yum fruit cake baked by one of the crew. Friendly service. Enjoyed sitting at an outside table. Quiet and relaxing.
Excellent cafe and lovely staff. The lamb's fry and bacon and french toast were probably the best we've had. Good sized coffees and nice and hot. Good value for money.
The most watery coffee I have ever tasted in a cafe. Can't vouch for the food as I didn't have any. Service was friendly. But I gotta say that service in a cafe don't mean much if the coffee is horrible.
