If you didn't book, you might not have a table. I was single so fairly easy. Ordered the Fried Chicken Waffles, Cheese Scones and Mocha. Mocha was really good. But the food was... OK. Good but not great. The Cheese Scone was too salty and crumbled. But the service though Food: 3/5
Really delicious breakfast and lunch cafe. Enjoyed the coffee and the chicken sandwich most of all. Members of my group also got their bibimbap and waffles which were also delicious.
Been wanting to come here for breakfast for ages, but it’s always either fully booked or closed - the draw card being the high ratings and the option to build your own breakfast. Finally made it! Built my own breakfast and it was delicious! Definitely worth a visit. And if not for breakfast or brunch, then the cabinet offers up some pretty delicious looking options for afternoon tea.
Great food with a beautiful twist. Stunningly presented. Perfect coffee. Modern decor but old school service - all you need for a mid morning brunch! Away from the hustle of the main village, Comes & Goes offers a great menu that you should definitely try!
The vibes in this cafe are great! Felt very classy. But the waffles weren’t anything special but I’m giving it four stars because I’ve heard lots of good things about other menu items and because I just loved the vibes, I’ll probably try something else from here and give it another chance
Very quiet and with nothing but white paint on the walls lacking in vibe. Our server mooching about in her sandals over socks just kills what little enthusiasm I already had. Coffee was fine. Parking: Quiet end of Jackson St.
Lovely Cafe! We went there for the WOAP Burger.. How can you make any Canadian happy? Serve them a Fried chicken in a croissant with nice crispy bacon, delightful maple sirop some hashbrown and double cheese.. and why not add some polenta fries.. Pretty mean!! There is also an option with waffle topped with ice cream... So worth it! Pleasant experience with caring staff. Bonus: Baby friendly I will definitely return for the regular breakfast/brunch menu! Vegetarian options: Tasty Soba noodle salad Kid-friendliness: Decent space for a pram and high chairs Parking: Easy to find free parking nearby
We visited towards the end of a Saturday, nice & chill with the staff still attentive. We both ordered the spicy noodles & shared a side of deep fried tofu. The meal was deliciously fresh & tasty with the right amount of zing. The tofu added a perfect crunch to the dish & is portioned easy to be shared. The Kawakawa Fire & Tokyo Lime teas rounded the meal off. A lovely experience after having our nails done at Tippy Toes also on Jackson St.
A good cafe who serves nice food. Glad that we tried it. The burger was good but the spicy noodles were icing on the cake. Must try it.
WOAP burger 2022: This is easily one of the most appetizing looking burgers in this year’s competition! Just look at it! Fried chicken, bacon, hash brown and cheese in a croissant - I could eat all of this every day! Unfortunately the chicken and bacon were slightly overdone in my burger, which meant it missed getting top marks. And the staff processed my order incorrectly, which made for a longer waiting time. As for the cafe itself, the simple, tasteful decor and great looking menu guarantee that I’ll be back for another brunch soon.
