Story

Since 2001 Coherent Solutions has been enabling engineers and researchers to fully characterize optical pulses. Our skills, experience, and capabilities have grown and so has the market. Optical pulse generation and characterization are now utilized in a broad range of diverse markets from Biophotonics to materials processing. Over the last three years we have begun to focus on Coherent Optical Communications. As faster devices and more advanced complex modulation formats emerge, the challenge to fully characterize these signals and their interactions becomes harder and harder to achieve. Engineers and researchers spend greater amounts of time and money trying to measure the results of their work rather than focusing on technology and product creation.

Coherent Solutions was formed to tackle these challenges.

Our new brand-name defines our goals. We develop and manufacture Test & Measurement equipment specifically for the Coherent Optical Communications market. Our products are designed to enable engineers and researchers to focus on the results rather than the measurement – our equipment’s use cutting-edge technologies driven by simple-to-use application specific software’s, to provide accurate results with a cost and time effective solution. We do not develop general-use Test & Measurement equipment and then try to fit it into as many markets as possible. Simply put, we provide Coherent Solutions.
