Juicy but not wet chocolate cake. Took a couple with us, ate for several days, a piece of cake did not dry out. In the same chain, but in a coffee shop at a different address near this place, I tried carrot cake - perhaps the most tender carrot cake I have ever eaten. Never dry, which is why I don't really like this type of cake, it's very easy to make it dry because there is no moist layer to compensate for dryness. Will take more! Workers are polite and in good mood.
The barista was so sweet and friendly. She offered coffee recommendations based on my restrictions. It’s hard to find a coffee shop that can offer decaf and milk alternatives other than Starbucks. It’s a cute cafe with great natural lighting. The coffee and carrot cake were amazing! I’d recommend checking this place out if you need to rest your legs and you’d like a nice dessert with coffee.
Even though the coffee and cake tasted good, I didn't enjoy my visit. The service was SUPER SLOW and the cake was hugely OVERPRICED 7€ for ONE piece of small carrot cake. There were no price tags, so I only found out when I paid. They also didn't have enough clean cups so one of us got a paper cup.
Best espresso drinks in Amsterdam. Real espresso, not those automated machines. The staff are very nice and helpful. I got an iced latte with hazelnut and waffle with whip cream
Just a short stop during our way back home from Tanzania to Hungary. Instead of waiting at Shipol, we spent 2 hours in Amsterdam, walking around in the city. Meanwhile we needed a coffee and some sweets. We found the best place for that. :-Food: 5/5

Really couldn't ask for anything better than this place. Super kind waitress, excellent coffee, delicious cakes we tried applecake and cheesecake as well as relaxing atmosphere and vibe. 10/10 and perfect getaway from Amsterdam crowds.Food: 5/5
