Coffee Hut Whangarei

Simply the best coffee in Whangerei. I stopped by a couple of times during my morning walks. The second time, I had a 'black forest mocha on soy". It was an amazing and unique experience. The staff are very friendly. Parking is very good. Disabled access is excellent. There is seating available nearby and the toilets are only a few metres away. The view are spectacular and it's almost under the hook bridge. Highly recommended.

Very popular. A lot of people love this cute Chriztiez Coffee Container. The foods coffee is the best in town. Very good location and good for the walkers and visiting the place very near to a freedom camping too.

March 30. Bit bored with the old silver fern so asked for a unicorn atop n My flat white. They didn't disappoint!! Superb coffee. Great service. I'm not usually a muffin fan but their black forest choc muffin was heavenly. Would highly recommend this to all. They have 2 vans - on the Sh1 southbound layby between manse st and Selwyn ave or at the town loop on the northern side of the fish hook te matau a pohe bridge.

Good coffee and toasted sandwiches. Nice spot to sit with a lovely view of the river and the amazing bridge. There is a long walk around the river that showcases a lot of art work and Whangarei history.

It's not just a cafe, it's an individual approach to every customer. Christie serves the best coffee for a morning Hatea Loop walk/run. Always chatty and often sings for you - you won't get such experience anywhere else. Yes, it's a bit pricey but totally worth it. Just use a loyalty card for a discount ; Lots of free parking and a public toilet available. Not much seating, but you can always sit by the bridge nearby. Absolutely best coffee in town! Only place I will buy coffee only get hot chocolates at other places as always disappointed by their coffees otherwise. Heaps of awesome flavours and an awesome, delightful owner!!

Definitely not getting ice cream. At Christie's. Really disappointed and rude attitude of the staff. The lady in the counter doesn't care about reusable tubs/cups. She doesn't even know the difference if I bring my own tub I create no waste and I save you money on tubs win win situation. I understand that there are covid rules. But there's no need to be rude and talk behind customers back. Maybe educate the staff on ways to still run a business and care about the environment while complying with rules.

Best coffee in town. Christie puts in a lot of effort to get to know her customers and is always happy to chat. She even remembers your favourites!!! Great coffee selection, too, plus muffins, slices, snacks and yummy ice cream freshly made with real fruit.

Best coffee in Whangarei… we tried many places during our 3 week stay in the boat yard and this was the pick by a country mile
