I was craving the Biscoff drink, but I was really disappointed. It was incredibly sweet like drinking a glass of syrup. That’s about it. The cake wasn’t impressive either; it felt way too expensive for the quality of food.
Genuinely disappointed both times I’ve been here. Coffee is poorly made my cappuccino had zero foamed milk. The worst part, though - the eggs. I got the salmon keto once, and the bacon bene bagel the next, and on both occasions the eggs were dry and chalky. Will not be back.
Amazing coffee! Lovely setting with an outdoor area that provides the perfect spot to soak up the sun!nnScrambled eggs on toast were good, best served with eggs off the toast though or you’ll have soggy bread.
Stumbled upon this lovely clean cafe in Timaru. The coffee was really good and the custard cheesecake was good too. The cabinet food looked good but didn’t try so cannot comment. I wish I had more time and hence the 4 stars for food and atmosphere. They have a good seating area outside.
So disappointed in this place today. We took our three-year-old grandaughter out for a fluffy, after a visit to the playground. We sat in the kids area to wait for our order. My grandaughter was looking at herself in the mirror above the seats when the back of the seat came off in her hands and knocked her onto the hard tile floor. The seat is a H&S risk and the duty manager should have apologised. However, she instead came over and blamed my grandaughter and my husband for the accident. The back of the seat is completely unattached and it will happen again. I am pretty forgiving when accidents happen but the attitude of the duty manager was less than satisfactory. Update: the business owner contacted my husband to apologise profusely and assure him that the seat would be fixed. Thank you for acknowledging the problem. I have amended the review.
