So disappointed in this place today. We took our three-year-old grandaughter out for a fluffy, after a visit to the playground. We sat in the kids area to wait for our order. My grandaughter was looking at herself in the mirror above the seats when the back of the seat came off in her hands and knocked her onto the hard tile floor. The seat is a H&S risk and the duty manager should have apologised. However, she instead came over and blamed my grandaughter and my husband for the accident. The back of the seat is completely unattached and it will happen again. I am pretty forgiving when accidents happen but the attitude of the duty manager was less than satisfactory. Update: the business owner contacted my husband to apologise profusely and assure him that the seat would be fixed. Thank you for acknowledging the problem. I have amended the review.
Nice staff, good coffee, the ambience is sweet, and you can charge your phone. Quite pricey for food, but overall, it's great for coffee!
The coffee beans here have a fruity flavor, which isn't my preference since I prefer nutty coffee. However, the dessert was absolutely delicious!
I paid $16 for the vegan bagel and it was a bit of a let down. What I received versus what I paid was not equal - thin layer of spinach, too much aioli, a strip of crispy fake chicken, and the mash flavours weren’t that impressive. There’s room for improvement, maybe adding a tomato even. They had a lot of dietary options so that was nice. But it would take some convincing to go back.
Probably the worst bacon and eggs I've ever had. The sourdough wasn't toasted at all so was just a soggy piece of bread under the eggs. The bacon was overcooked and burnt. Served in a round bowl for some reason so not only awkward to eat but absolutely covered in balsamic vinegar. Coffee was the saving grace.
