Delicious fresh blue cod and chips! Batter was beautifully crispy and the chips were equally as good. Busy on a Friday night but quick turnaround and super friendly service. Highly recommend!
Never been to this shop before but we were passing through and decided to try it. We had blue cod, chunky chips and oysters. All were delicious, The oysters aren’t on the menu because they don’t always have them but if you are a fan then ask them if they have any.
Vintage. Good to find a real great fish and chip shop. Great burgers, fish, chips, ... everything really.nI've called in three times now, served by a different person each time, and always friendly and put a smile on your face. Old school !
One of the best fish and chips ever - and I didn’t even have a whole fish! We arrived just 20 mins before closing and missed the last of the blue cod. We were persuaded to have the cod bites instead and wow, they were simply superb. The batter is out of this world. My wife had the sole and that was really good as well. Thanks to the guys serving for looking after us well.
Great fish and chips. Had the blue cod which was very good. Would definitely recommend Cod & hogget for their Fish and chips. They gave us extra fish bites.
