A small town quaint mall. Has a few anchor shops like Countdown and Farmers both have a good selection of stock. The food area is also worth a visit if your hungry and want good value Asian food.
The mall is pretty average and becoming outdated, lots of empty places where clearly it is struggling to fill shops. Food court has a couple of great good options but agin lost popular service providers. There are great shopping options around the mall, but unfortunately some of the parking spaces have been made narrower and it comes with parking restrictions. So don’t shop for too long or you will be fined.
Been here couple of times and I really enjoy every visit. The place is clean and there is a wide variety of food choices in their food court. There are toilets that clean and well maintained. There are several shops and a supermarket within the mall.
Worst designed car park in NZ serving access to less than average retail outlets. Be careful, they love giving you parking infringements.nIf you don't need to go here, stay away and go somewhere else.
Coastlands Shopping Centre is a top tier shopping destination on the Kāpiti Coast, offering a diverse selection of more than 100 stores, dining options, and entertainment. However, the traffic congestion at entrances and exits, particularly when coming from and going to SH1, combined with parking challenges, even though there are supposed to be 1,500 carparks, affects the overall visiting experience. Addressing these issues, potentially through better traffic management and improved road and carpark traffic flow design, would enhance accessibility and convenience for shoppers. Internally, the centre is sprawling with some parts linking back to its original buildings a little dated - I recently visited in a hurry to find a Paperplus store before closing and has to traipse the entire length of the mall because of the lack of signage external or internal to the facility. A look at signage to assist customers would be something that would enhace a visiting experience.
