The Coast Road Cycle Challenge is held on the 3rd weekend in November, starting in downtown Westport travelling along the Coast Road to Greymouth.
This is a must see part of New Zealand. The Lonely Planet Guide rates this stretch of coastal highway as one of the Top 10 drives on earth. The course is challenging, but the scenery is breathtaking.
