$5 for a piece of tiny fish way smaller than my hand overcooked. Hotdog had oily batter and most was crumbed off before we even opened the parcel.
There's a 1980 hippie vibe with surfboards and convie vans, amazing dining areas. The service is great, it's so quick and the workers are really kind, they have a massive menu and tons of vegetarian options, every thing is super cheap I really recommend coast if you want a quick going meal to omarua or kakanui.
Seafood chowder was delicious as was the blue cod. The young waitress was delightful. Looking out at the sea while enjoying a beautiful meal is hard to beat.We’ll be back
We had the blue cod and chips. The chips were crispy and the batter on the blue cod was thin and crispy. The service was very good and the views were lovely. Altogether a great experience, thank you.
