We went from Arrowtown direction down to Dunedin. This is a short, beautiful bridge right in the small town that crosses the Clutha river/Mata -Au. ynYou can see the bridge from the side of the Dam at the viewpoint. If you have time, you should visit the beautiful little town next to the river and the museum.
We came to here due to a Chinese movie. It is really a peaceful town and really enjoyed it. Hopefully one day my Dumplings shop could open here with a happy ending.
This is a simple steel truss bridge across the Clutha Mata-Au River, significant because this is usually the starting point of the famous Otago Rail Trail; access to parking is immediately to the right after you exit the bridge, when crossing from Clyde town.
Beautiful spot to stop, especially in Autumn
Nice spot, under the bridge, for a picnic.
