Our bowling club in beautiful Clyde, Central Otago is open to all age groups and experience to enjoy lawn bowls all year round.
Clyde Bowling Club, established in 1913, is located in the picturesque township of Clyde in Central Otago. Clyde is a warm and friendly club with a combined membership of 64 outdoor members and a very popular indoor programme during winter with approximately 120 people taking part.
The Club has two natural outdoor greens and a four rink indoor stadium for winter bowls.
The outdoor programme caters for the needs of bowlers of all abilities with mid-week roll-ups through to championship events in the weekends.
A Social Bowls programme runs throughout the Christmas / New Year period for holidaymakers.
The indoor winter programme runs from the beginning of May to the end of August offering bowls on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
The triples competition is played on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings over a 10 week period. Championship events and weekend tournaments are held regularly throughout the winter indoor bowls season.
Visitors to Clyde are most welcome to come along either to play bowls or for a social chat at the clubhouse.
