Club Paihia

A huge shout out to all those in running this fabulous resort. The maintenance is of the highest level and I am proud to share our holiday here with friends and family. The swimming pools are always pristine and the unit cleanliness is outstanding. Nothing is too much for frontline staff. Thanks Club Paihia. Beautiful, well-equipped apartment, and the resort is conveniently located within easy walking distance from restaurants and shops, as well as the cruise jetties. The resort is built on the side of a steep hill, which was a disadvantage to me, as I have osteoarthritis in my knees so that made it hard to access some of the resort facilities. Nevertheless, I can recommend the resort in every other aspect.

The 1 bedroom apartment we stayed in was very neat, tidy, and well presented.nThe grounds are well maintained, and the natural bush is lovely. We enjoyed our week there.

We loved the hot pools and lovely location. Lovely hosts, nice to be able to borrow DVDs and bikes, we had a great time. The one thing I would recommend is to bring your own water, as the tap water was disgusting and tasted like dirt/mould. We immediately went to the supermarket and bought water for our stay. Plus if you are intending on sleeping someone in the lounge, the exit sign is extremely bright. A monopoly box lid took care of that for us!

I have stayed at Club Pahia timeshare resort twice, once precovid with our children and more recently with my husband and no kids. The facilities are lovely with a beautiful heated pool area, a peaceful bush walk that takes you past a tennis court, petanque pitch, and children's playground to a large lookout. The units I stayed in were small but comfortable and an ideal base to explore the Bay of Islands from. The only negative was it was based on a hillside, which often made a steep climb at the end of a days exploration.
