What a chill eateries, the location is awesome. Plenty of space to dine in and eat, even eat your takeaways out on the deck. Fresh and well made takeaways really popular with the locals. We had snapper which had a light crispy batter - a little on the greasy side but not too bad. Chips were really good as were the oysters and potato fritters. Spring roll a little mushy on the inside but good flavours. A little pricy but probably mid range compared to other places.
Disappointed. Old oil. Small portions, large cost. When he repeated my order, he had gotten 1 item wrong. I asked for a beef spring roll, and he wrote veggie. I corrected him on my choice, but when we got home, I unwrapped the food and found it to be a veggie springroll. It may sound insignificant, but for someone who likes to get what they pay forespecially food, it certainly ruined my meal.
Nestled in the beach burb Clark’s Beach Takeaways brings a real feel to the classic kiwi eat! Great menu to choose from at competitive rates. The fresh, clean taste makes you completely satisfied without the heavyweight. We had the famous “fish taco’s and wrinkled fries - YUM! My photo doesn’t do justice so you will most definitely have to pop in say hello and be impressed.
Beautiful burgers, fresh produce, tasty and great value. Ordering and paying online super convenient. Highly recommend A+++
