Nestled in the beach burb Clark’s Beach Takeaways brings a real feel to the classic kiwi eat! Great menu to choose from at competitive rates. The fresh, clean taste makes you completely satisfied without the heavyweight. We had the famous “fish taco’s and wrinkled fries - YUM! My photo doesn’t do justice so you will most definitely have to pop in say hello and be impressed.
Some of the best fish and chips I have had for a long time. Beautiful fresh snapper with crispy batter and crinkle cut chips cooked to perfection. This is a definite must try if you like fish and chips. Nice friendly people running it
We ordered burgers online with chips and found the burgers ok with chip portion being on the small side. What let's them down is their lack of staff and service with customers having to wait. 3 staff on a Friday night seems slim given the amount of people waiting. Our online order was for a 7.10 pick up we got it at 7.30. Weird also that we couldn't ring through as busy yet the phone doesn't ring when your in store.

New owners deserve a little more time to get things right. Used to be 4.5/5 but little things are getting the locals upset. Chips are soggy and warm and half the serving as previously served. Cheeseburger orders mixed up - asked for beetroot and extra onion - 1 arrived with beetroot and no onion and the second one no beetroot with little onion.
Great selection of fish to choose. Stuck to the basics tonight with 2 snapper and a single scoop of chips. Will be back! Parking: Plenty unless there's a large event

Great value for money. Had the cheeseburger and chips and was really happy with the meal. Only thing to improve would be the beef pattie which tastes a bit generic. Very generous scoop size for the chips. Keep it up
My husband said his mussel burger was the best burger he's ever tasted!! The rest of our food was amazing too. Thanks
