Wonderful golf course. Worth the travel time. Could do with more water taps on the course. Tough par 3s. Beers reasonably priced and the food is top notch quality. Friendly people. Ample parking.
We had a great experience playing for the first time at Clarkes Beach GC. The customer service a special shout out to Karen on the front desk from arrival through to the beer & burger afterwards was so friendly and welcoming. We loved that we received a voucher for a free burger in the cafe. And chilled glasses awaited us in the bar for our cold beer post round after playing in 27°C. The course is beautiful. A good level of difficulty for our rookie golfer abilities. Great to see new paths under construction and a lovely fountain water feature. Everyone we met on course was extremely friendly and obliging to our limited ability to play this frustrating but addictive game. Our only suggestion is that the club room is very tired and rundown, particularly the covered in non smoking area. The chairs in this area are rusted and very worn out.nWe are very keen to return to this course.
Beautiful course. Easy to see your way around. Deceptively difficult par 3s. Not too long. Welcoming and a true country course with lovely staff and facilities. Watch out for the hidden penalty areas. Hint: the volcanic stones in the hazard on 4 are not to be trifled with

A beautiful golf course. Fantastic views of manukau Harbour. Great staff and great food, all day. Bar is open every day. Plenty of carts for hire, but recommend you book a cart in advance, as this place is busy on weekend's. Well worth the drive
