Great gym. Easy to access after hours. Can get busy sometimes, but lots of equipment and machines so usually able to make a work out work. Great amount of treadmills/bikes etc. Tidy changing rooms and toilets. Range of pricing options to suit different needs and budgets.
More space, equipment and friendly vibe. The open space gives a cleaner atmosphere. Recovery room is peaceful and relaxing. I haven't been able to get in to Pilates and yoga yet but they look like a vibe.
Connected with an outstanding personal trainer who has promised to encourage me to b my best. Looking forward to this.
I have a black premium membership, so I'll give a comparison between this and the Pitt st. franchise.nnKelvin Grove:nnAdvantages:n- Spacious. Good for Claustrophobes. Basically, an open area with no dividing walls or corners.n- Generally cleaner around the gym area.n- More Cardio and dip & pull up machines/bars.n- Newer equipment.nnDisadvantages:n- Shower not as clean and luxurious as Pitt st.n- More intimidating for Introverts since it's an open and some stations/machines are facing each other, especially if you're doing free weight.nnBut , more privacy when you're doing machines except lat pull down and other cable machines.nn- SUPER crowded until 12 am.nnPitt St:nAdvantages:n- Better for shy people or introverts. Many corners and some hidden spots.n- Located in the city center.n- Shower area male has a luxury feeling.n- Tends to be less hectic close to late nightnnDisadvantages:n- Not that spacious.n- Old equipmentn- Don't feel clean except the toilet and showern- Feels like less extra equipment
Nice gym. Got most of the equipments you will need. Friendly staffs.
