I never thought in a million years I'd step foot in a gym. But one day, out of the blue, I decided to join City Fitness Blenheim and Im so glad I did! Love coming here. Ive never been made to feel ashamed, in fact its rather empowering. The staff are all so lovely and friendly! The facilities are awesome. So many different machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, weight areas. Love the fact that everyone sprays and wipes down their machines after each use. Everyone here is just respectful and friendly. Good showers and changing rooms with plenty of lockers. Plenty of parking as well. 24/7 access is awesome. If you want to join a gym, choose this one, give it a go!
Absolutely terrible experience at CityFitness Blenheim after staff hours. I entered the gym, realized I had forgotten my phone in the car, stepped outside for literally a minute, and then couldn’t get back in.nnI had previously been told by staff there is some ridiculous 15-minute timeout rule once you exit the gym. Fair enough — already inconvenient enough for paying members — but even after waiting the full 15 minutes, I still could not re-enter. So basically my entire workout was ruined and I wasted my time driving there for nothing while still paying for a membership.nnThis system is absurd. Paying customers should not be locked out over something as simple as grabbing a phone from their car. If the concern is people abusing entries, then invest in a better system instead of punishing legitimate members.nnI’m paying for access to a gym, not for unnecessary restrictions and frustration. Extremely disappointing experience and terrible member convenience.
Unfortunately there is no air-conditioning. Some of the gear is quite old. Not a fan of the bench press. The great things are the price, the staff and the showers. The new layout is great so I have given them an extra star
hi there i loving going to the gym but i feel like sometimes its too bright and it would be great if you dimmed the lights at night time i’ve heard some many people relating to this
Staff are very friendly, amazing equipment for everything. Massage chairs way better than jetts with the similar price
