A learn to swim programme designed and coached by Olympic swimmers, City swim teaches students to swim confidently and correctly while having fun.

Story

Olympians Gary Hurring and Tash Hind are looking for children to join their learn to swim programme and get the best instruction available in Wellington.

Come in for a free trial this term, anyone who signs up for Term Two will receive the remainder of Term One free.

Lessons are available at Freyberg Pool, Oriental Parade – Monday to Thursday at 3.30pm and Saturdays from 3pm to 5pm. Please note swimmers must be able to swim 25m unaided for the Freyberg lessons.

Incredible facilities with great coaches and friendly staff. Highly recommend for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
City Swim have been fantastic at progressing my two school aged children. We’ve been swimming with City Swim for just over 2 years and my children have constantly progressed. Before City Swim we tried a couple of other swim schools in Wellington but we’re really disappointed with the programme and teachers. My kids have been swimming from birth so were very confident, but the other swim schools were unable to challenge them or teach them at the right level. City Swim’s teachers are all experienced swimmers, trained well and able to break down the strokes to teach correct technique while keeping their pupils engaged. The facilities are fantastic and there’s plenty of free onsite parking. Another thing that’s really important to me for all children swimming is that they don’t over train and get injured or burn out - and this is a coaching philosophy that Ciry Swim adopt also. They offer quality coaching / teaching without putting too much pressure on their pupils and over training them. Highly recommend City Swim to anyone living in Wellington.
