City Nails Whakatane

The pedicure was lovely, but being a tall male, I felt like the ladies were talking about me and making jokes, the person I was with thought the same thing. Felt like as soon as I sat down I was a hindrance, not a welcoming place. Judgemental. The male worker was lovely and the lady at the front desk I didn’t catch her name was also lovely and helpful. Such a shame because it would have been nice to have a regular place to go to in this town. But we will continue to travel to Tauranga for our nail services. Won’t be back.Service: Pedicure

Great ladies working here. Id as I asked. Yes they speak in their own tounge but this dosent worry me they talk to customers in English. I enjoy the relaxing time doing girly things

I had the gel nails, they did an awesome job! And a pedicure, it really lasted ! Love this place!

They ran put of nail polish so my toes don't match my finger nails

Today was my 2nd time ever going to City Nails. I very rarely get my nails done, so when I do go it's a treat. This time, however, wasn't very pleasant at all. I got Shellac on my fingernails for $35, reasonable price. The young girl who did my nails was Tiffany. She actually cut 2 of my fingers quite badly and made me bleed. She didn't apologise or even hesitate when it happened. Getting back to my car afterwards I noticed my pinky finger was still bleeding and stinging quite a lot. pic attached Apart from that, staff seem... friendly? I guess? They tend to speak amongst themselves in their own language rather than to the customers, which is a little awkward at times.. Overall I don't recommend this nail salon. I think I will be going somewhere different for my next nail treat.

Great atmosphere but the lady who worked on my hands was rushing. Ended up injuring the skin around my nails. Not a great experience once they put nail polish on. It stung really bad.

They do a good job
