Dr. P demonstrated unprofessional behavior while treating a family member at City Doctors. The patient, suffering from a severe reaction with hives and excruciating pain, was unreasonably instructed to move from her bed to a chair, showing a lack of empathy for her physical distress, it was very clear the patient was in pain and that any movement caused further agony. Instead of offering support, Dr. P suggested seeing an allergist for a diagnosis, this only entails additional financial burden after the already steep $110 consultation fee. While we understand that immediate answers may not be available, the doctor should and can provide help and comfort in more ways than merely redirecting patients.nnThe patient felt saddened and dissatisfied with the dismissive, cold treatment. When she requested additional days off work, Dr. P's response was dismissive indicating the patient return for another appointment for a medical certificate, disregarding the medication prescribed, the patient's condition and the inconvenience of another $110 fee just for a med certificate. This lack of consideration and reluctance to extend the med cert was disheartening.nnOverall, the absence of compassion and understanding during this visit was unacceptable for a medical professional. Trust in a doctor hinges on their ability to provide care and show genuine concern for the patients health and recovery.nnI am disappointed with City Doctors' consistent subpar service over the years. Rude and dismissive behavior should not be tolerated, especially when patients approach with kindness seeking help. Doctors must hold themselves to higher standards. In fact, it seems as though a lot of the staff including the receptionists need personal growth and professional training.
They now require payment upfront $110 adult for casuals. That's before they tell you how long the wait will be. I'm in my 6th hour of waiting and if I leave I would have wasted my money and time while still not having seen a doctor!
Came for consulting the doctor for my daughter's stomach pain and it's been more than 4 hours. Still sitting and waiting for the call. Overall a worst experience.
As a registered patient I have to book atleast a month in advance and every time there’s a 20 minute wait. Today I was told I had to wait an hour for my 15 minute appointment that I booked a month ago. Im also sick of being ignored at reception every single time I walk in, the least you can do is acknowledge our existence. This isn’t good enough and I’m fed up. Do better
If you are a person not from the district, needing simple medical help not accident consider carefully. You will wait hours, be the last person seen, no follow up with anything. You can't register with them.nNo plans to return, wouldn't put myself through it again after 2 visits in 1 week, Only went back trying to get x-ray results and a diagnosis within the 7 day follow up period, took 5.5 hrs.nThis clinic has bought home how tough the medical system is to navigate.
