Your typical French restaurant that hits the right notes on classic French dishes with a modern twist. The size of the starters is quite large and good for sharing, we ordered 2 starters for 4 people with a main dish each. The Saint Jacques scallops was absolutely divine.. The crispy vegetables gave it a good crunch alongside creamy mashed sweet potatoes. Loved the steak too, cooked medium rare mi-saignant was done perfect and the roasted potatoes had a delicious crust. Also love the warm ambiance and the very polite serveuse tried her best to speak English with us :
What an incredible evening at Citrus. The food is of a rare finesse, the patio is a real peace spot in the center of Paris. What can I say about the team? A youth full of enthusiasm and cheerfulness. Always with the small care and very attentive. We will surely not forget this dinner. Hoping to see a branch of Citrus soon in New York! Who knows. Good job everyone.
Visited from Abu Dhabi with my girlfriend and family. Absolutely loved it this place, great menu, well prepared and presented food. Deni was also very nice and took great care of us. Would definitely visit again whenever we are in paris.
Not a great food experience. The menu contained what sounded like very complex dishes but the taste was bland, the quality was poor. For example most dishes contained a mixed salad for sure ready cut from a bag with brown ends, the medium steak was served well done, the waiter did not present the dishes when serving and did not know the name of the fish on the menu. This was not the fine dining experiences the restaurant presents itself as wanting to give. Unfortunately I can not recommend.
This place is great!! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Highly recommend!
Loved this restaurant. The food was delicious unfortunately I didn't take a picture but I had the pork knuckle and polenta it was so tasty. The service was exceptional, friendly and efficient. I asked for a taxi to be booked and the lovely staff assisted, plus waited to make sure we got into the taxi ok. The decor was fresh and ambiance lively but not noisy. A recommend for those who love food and a trendy vibe.
Visiting from Canada and saw the great reviews and it was a quick walk from our hotel. The food was amazing , service was fabulous and one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. The chocolate cake with vanilla sauce. Definitely recommend!
Everything was so delicious!! Great place and experience
Situated near Bd. Haussmann, the bistro attracts with a well curated menu. Unfortunately there was only one vegetarian dish available and the atmosphere was rather cold. The dishes were presented nicely, but the taste was surprisingly disappointing. I would not recommend the bistro, taking the variety of other options into account.
Food was good but.. if you are a couple.. you can’t have a table inside i decided to book a table here also due to the nice ambient of the restaurant and, there’s a different testament if you’re French or not.. there are better choices in the area!!
