We can provide you with delicious, healthy, hearty, food and drink options. We are fully licensed, caffeine filled and fun aplenty. We source local ingredients and specialise in gourmet burgers, seasonal salads, small plates and in-house baked cabinet food. What an awesome relaxed cafe. Visited with 2 kids who have food allergies, and the staff were very helpful and able to work around this. Not relevant to us, but they have a separate kitchen for gluten free items. The staff were excellent, the food delish, and the location and outdoor seating was really nice. There's activities to keep the kids occupied and even some games to be played too. Got a takeaway coffee which was far too bitter for my liking but other than that a great experience all round.
Gorgoues wee eccentric vibe. Loved it. Went here again the other day and sat in their outdoor section and was very cute and had a great atmosphere. The fires were amazing. Cocktail range was limited but they were well priced and delicious. Great wee spot.
Great food, amazing atmosphere, attentive staff, 3 foot fall burger, great coffee. Bravo this place deserves a random cat pic he lives round the corner
We stopped in here for a coffee and a sweet with my family. The vibe was amazing and the service and hospitality from the staff were so nice we felt very welcomed with our toddler. The coffee was good and they were happy to use our byo baby chino cup and the sweets were amazing. We aren't local but my grandad is he said he will be bringing his next visitors here.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Made me want to stay longer. Wonderful menu and cabinet food. Great decor. Had loaded fries late afternoon and left very impressed by everything. Vegetarian options: Great loaded fries.
This place is an institution, the room food & service are all top notch & we have visited here several times before. The fish and chips & burgers are legendary but most of the menu is good. No doubt we will visit again soon as this is one of Whanganuis best restaurants. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
We had an awesome lunch here today! The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was DELICIOUS!! They had a good selection of Dairy Free choices and the Tofu Salad was Perfecto!!Food: 5/5

Nice ambiance, nice staff. I ordered a flat white good and a small cinnamon scroll both came to $16. That's $6.50 for the coffee, which I'm okay with but $9.50 for the small scroll. That's crazy!Food: 3/5
I love coming here; for dinner, lunch, or even just a takeaway coffee. Local's night on Thursdays is great! The staff are always friendly and the food is delicious. We're lucky to have such a great little treasure here in CastlecliffFood: 5/5
