Our Central New Plymouth location makes our store the ideal location for your consultation, regardless of your schedule. With both street parking and multi-story parking available immediately outside our store. We are open Tuesday to Saturday but can offer alternative times by appointment.

I was super nervous going in to find my wedding dress, as id had not so great experiences with other bridal shops in the south Taranaki area, but Louise and her worker I apologize for forgetting her name were both absolutely wonderful, Including staying open late more than once to accommodate me. They asked all the right questions and made me feel super comfortable in general. Beatiful dresses, classy store and friendly helpful staff, I could not have asked for a better experience. Thankyou so much ladies at Churchwood!

Churchwood Boutique has an excellent selection of wedding gowns to fulfil many dreams. The space is a perfect balance of bright and airy, cosy and comfy, with natural lighting and plenty of charm. What makes the experience so wonderful though, is the people. Louise and Hannah actively listen to your ideas and hopes, they are respectful and empathetic and make you feel really special. I never felt pressured or rushed and they answered every question twice when I forgot I'd asked already haha. The clear communication makes it easy to feel confident in your final decision... It just so happens that I fell in love with my dream gown on the very first try and in the one and only shop I visited. Who knew it could be so easy? Thank you ladies for your making the whole process such a joy! x
I went to Churchwood Bridal with my mother when I was first looking for a dress after getting engaged. We were told that I was "too young" i was 24 yrs and "didn't know if I was actually getting married yet"! They didn't want to bother letting me look at any because they didn't want me to "returning it later on". Walked out shocked and emotional. Terrible first dress experience, and I lost all excitement about searching for a dress. Eventually went to Hamilton to find one as I couldn't bring myself to return. Hope this hasn't happened to anyone else! *in response to your questions regarding when we visited, it was early 2020 and we didn't have an appointment, we were dropping into the store to make first contact and hopefully arrange an appointment. I don't remember who served us, there were 2 women there, but I'm not even sure they gave us their names.
LOVED Churchwood Bridal. They made the whole experience of finding my bridal dress so special for me. These ladies were attentive and listened to what I was hoping for! Made the 5 hour drive worth it! Thank you so much :
These ladies are magical! They know their stuff when it comes to helping a bride choose her perfect dress! I didn't know why I wanted until it was found for me, my perfect dress that I love so much I can't even bring myself to sell post wedding. Thank you so so much for helping me, listening to me, being patient and showing me things I wouldn't have otherwise even considered! Love you ladies!
Had such a lovely experience with these ladies! I ended up changing my mind on my dress and they were so lovely and helped me to find a dress I was %100 happy with. Didn't make me feel like it was any trouble. Highly recommend coming here to get your dress!!
