Church of the Good Shepherd, Lake Tekapo

Amazing historical church to stop by when in Lake Tekapo.. beautiful landscape situated beside the lake, and the church that still offers regular Sunday services where they welcome worshippers all over the world.. We came on a Sunday afternoon and the ground was filled with many tourist coming through Tekapo..

Lovely church. Great location. Unfortunately not open on all days due to lack of volunteers. Anglican Eucharistic every Sunday 4pm Catholic Mass last Sunday of the month at 6pm

Iconic landmark that I have visited many times before. New pathways around it. Some of the surfaces are uneven but if you have problems with this you would stick to the smooth pathways. This adds character to the place. Met some lovely people from around the country. I think people feel very privileged to be able to travel.

I guess it's everyone's bucket list place, such a precious monument. Enjoyed place well. Should go once if you're visiting south island .
