Story

ChristiAna’s Hair Braiding first started here in NZ back in 2012 by the Ofa Sisters – Christina, Ana & Simi. What initially started as a hobby, and a means of earning an additional income amongst close family & friends – quickly grew purely through ‘word of mouth’. As our popularity grew, we were fortunate enough to expand our client base to the wider community, and have continued to grow since then.

ChrisitiAna’s Hair & Beauty now consists of just Christina (30) & Ana (21), hence our business name Christi Ana, whilst Simi tends to family commitments, but is always on hand to assist when required.

We are of Tongan descent, born & raised in NZ, now residing in a small Town called KATIKATI which in The Bay Of Plenty. As we’re still in the process of establishing ourselves here in Katikati, we’re currently operating from home, but am more than happy to travel to you, within Tauranga, Katikati & waihi area.

Although we specialise predominantly in Hair Braiding, our services also include hair extensions, formal & bridal hair-do’s, make-up (on request) and hairstyles for all occasions and special events.

The majority of the products we use are natural & organic and is safe to use on most hair types, however you’re more than welcome to bring products of your own choice, in which case I’m more than happy to negotiate a reduced price in this instance.

Our passion for Hair Braiding is undeniable, as we have the ability to incorporate individual style preferences and client requests to suit your needs, and is evident in the ‘unique’ & ‘funky’ styles we offer our clients. Our hair designs are affordable, with pricing dependent on length, style, colour and products used, but can tailor a style and design to suit all budgets!
