Beautiful setting for a real foodies farmers market.nPortable cash machines on site, as whilst many stalls take plastic/pay wave this is still really a good old fashioned 'cash is king' style market!nHighlights have to be:nRobinson's Bay olive oil, the flavoured ones are interesting, but the pure is just so delightful you need to try the whole selection before choosing!nandnWia Ora Wildflower honey..nWarning though, the market closes at 12 noon..sharp! For some reason, the city council have tightened the rules!
Fabulous markets in idyllic location. There was so much wonderful food to choose from and the park was beautiful. The only downfall was one coffee vendor, and the wait was ridiculously long.
Recommend you come here for posh eats.nnAll the vendors seemed well picked out for a good variety, all niche artisans - very proud of their fare.nnThe posh porridge is a must try if you've never had it, I loved the okonomiyaki guy, and you're in for a treat if you like anything baked grizzly has a stall!.nnOnly thing inwouldnt recommend is expecting coffee in under 30 minutes, there is only one place and it is swamped with orders the whole time.
We loved it. It was quality food, not too much. Just try the olives, delicious.
Beautiful scenery, lovely food, and lots of choices for yummy goodies to take home.
