This review is about the restaurant in the casino, and not the casion itself, which seems good. I ordered the blue cod fish and chips for lunch. It included a small salad which is the best part of the dish. The salad is fresh and had a nice dressing. The chips were OK, but the fish was a bit disappointing as it didn't taste anywhere as nice as blue cod from other places. The fish was a bit mushy, possibly due to not being fresh. Other dishes looked OK, but need to taste them before making a comment. I also tried the lamb roast on another day, and it wasn't much good. The meat was below average, and the vegetables were overcooked. I have had better lamb elsewhere. Thank you.
My wife and I took my 90 year old mother in law for a night out, at the Christchurch Casino. She had not been there since pre earthquakes. The staff we just excellent with her and made a real fuss of her on the machines and in the bar which she just loved. We ended up in the Valley Bar with live entertainment that was beyond excellent. A great night out for all of us. All I can say is. Well done Christchurch Casino Staff. Greatly appreciated.
Great atmosphere. Went as a party group so some went to look at machines others stayed with the hard case band and sang and danced. Good night was had. Cheap drinks, strict control of the door. Good security. Car was parked a wee way off but that's town for you.
Had the best time at the Casino, not much of a gambler but tried my luck and won some coin. Wasn't much but I didn't lose out so win win. Ladies toilets are great and clean. Staff were absolutely AMAZING from bar staff to the tables in the casino : although not as big as Skycity Auckland, definitely preferred the Christchurch Casino MUCH better!
Great atmosphere was there for the 2023 New Years countdown, they make great pizzas, an awesome stuff. indoor smoking room to cater for the vaping and smoking community
Today is my birthday and I will like to day what great hospitality skills we are getting from Veejay in the monza sports bar. Highly recommend this place. Great staff.
Monza Bar always has great food and the daily deals are worth planning around. Great atmosphere on the games floor and free drinks in the machine areas.
I haven't been here in ages. It's looking real good and the tables/games are real spaced out. It's always a good feeling to leave with a few grand more than what you entered with. Sadly, that was not the case this time . I will be back for round 2. Lol Whether I win or lose, its a great night regardless.
Its a must visit in Christchurch city Sixty6 Casino and do try there alcohol signature drink the Dragon fly
Great food & fun! The staff are very friendly, professional, and helpful - especially when you have queries so imagine same when you get lucky! And with daily deals and tasty eats, it's convenient to mix good cuisine with your gaming experience.
