Great facility for children to play, but on a wet day during school holidays they need to put at least 2 staff on. The poor employee today was quite busy trying to do everything. Took 30 mins to get hot chips, another customer wanted refund after waiting 45 mins for food. You aren’t allowed to take food and drinks in but don’t have staff to provide service.
I recently had my son’s birthday party at Chipmunks Brewtown, and it was such a wonderful experience! The staff were friendly, helpful, and made everything run so smoothly. The kids had an amazing time playing, and the party setup was completely stress-free for me as a parent. We ordered vegetarian pizzas for both kids and adults along with a hot food platter, and the food was really tasty with great vegetarian options—definitely better than other indoor play party places in Wellington. Everything was well-organized, clean, and fun-filled. Highly recommend Chipmunks Brewtown for kids’ parties—it truly made my son’s day extra special!”
Came other day, arrived at 9.28am, opens at 9.30am. Person arrived 9.30 on dot to open should be here atleast ten mins earlier to turn everything on we enter to find tables still dirty from day before, food and balloons still on ground from day before. After an hour of play we went to order chips, coffee and slushiesnWell nothing was turned on so we had to wait awhile. Slushy weren't ordered as they weren't even frozen. Again if the owner turned up that wee bit earlier things would of been fine. Mats on floor are bubbling up becoming a tripping hazard, things aren't working and not being repaired. Gone very down hill since new owners. Or is it just cos kids don't notice these things so we don't care? At $20 a head for a child and the $100s u make on each party I'm sure u can afford to fix a few things and make it great again.
Won't be going here again, use to love this place but since the new owners it has gone massively down hill. I went to order food and the guy serving me was on his phone watching videos not paying attention that i was standing their, after 2 minutes i finally got to order and it took 40 minutes for my food to come out. My child refused to eat their cheeseburger as the bun was burnt and cold. The pizza was okay i felt like I wasted $60. The tables and floor was dirty and the place looks just sad.
Ball pit was filthy. Floor mats in 0-4years space is lifting and is a trip hazard. There was 1 person manning front and cooking food without gloves. Everything is over priced and coffees were horrible and left behind. The games in the ball pit were broken too.
