Just paid $21 for sweet and sour pork and this is what we got.nnIt's probably more annoying, in hindsight, because this is the best place on the Coast. So 1 star this time. But normally 5 star. So I've edited this review to be more fair. Still going there. But not going to buy the sweet n sour pork.
I had an incredible dining experience at China Beach! The food was absolutely delicious — authentic flavours and perfectly cooked dishes that left me wanting more. What truly made the visit special, though, was the outstanding service provided by a young man named Jamie. He was attentive, friendly, and attractive and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Jamie’s warm and professional approach added a wonderful touch to the whole experience. I highly recommend China Beach to anyone looking for fantastic Chinese cuisine paired with top-notch service. Five stars all the way - Cooper
We went for the all you can eat chickennnThe chicken was really nicely cooked, crispy coating, chicken perfectly cooked. It's noted the chicken is all the same, just different sauces or coating - beware the honey soy- extremely salty!nnThe service was average at best, long delays between dishes, no explanation on what to expect or how to order, items missing etc.nnAmbiance is what is missing most. The restaurant area is functional, but it lacks personality and warmth and leaves you feeling a bit like a perching short stay visitor.nnAdjusting the lighting and investing in staff performance could see this average restaurant reach new heights and popularity.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I have visited this restaurant two times already and service was great and I also loved the waiters as most of them were teenagers, just lovely! There was this very attentive, patient and kind young man as my waiter, unfortunately I couldn't quite catch his name. overall the food was amazing never dry and tasted extremely fresh and not to mention the calamari squid is amazing!!!
This place is awesome. We've come for the Chinese food and the all you can eat fried chicken, and both are excellent. Friendly staff were really good and happy to accommodate our toddler son, who also enjoyed the food particularly the prawn crackers.nAlso very reasonably priced for the quality of the food you get.
