Best Mango lassi I’ve had! The cheese and garlic naan were super gooey and tasty! Love that there are mild to extra hot options for the curries! The complimentary papadum starter was nicely spiced those big circular chips! Rice for $2 is enough to feed 2 people!

OMG, an incredible Indian restaurant serving delicious authentic flavors. So glad my husband and I decided to take a day trip to Rotorua before leaving New Zealand tomorrow. We order or cook Indian food at least 4 out of 7 days, and are quite picky about our Indian meals. Every single dish we ordered from Chimney exceeded our expectations, and service was great! Two thumbs up.
Dinner was served really fast, had delicious options. Our server was friendly and there were plenty of seats. We got full from dinner so got our desert takeaway. Would highly reccomend for fast, friendly and yum service.Food: 5/5
After touring NZ, you’ll be ready for intense flavor or heat or seasoning and this is it. This was our fave meal of a 14-day trip! Fresh, delicious food in a super charming location with the most gracious waitstaff of all time. Quite possibly the best Indian food we’ve ever had, anywhere in the world we’re Americans but my hubs travels to India for work a lot and agrees 1000%. They customize the spice level to your taste and even changed mine mid-meal so I could try it even spicier—I landed at regular hot “white person hot” vs their next level of “India hot”—check them out in rotorua and you will not be disappointed ;
Went with my whānau for a spontaneous dinner out later in the evening on a weeknight. The restaurant wasn't busy and accommodated the 7 of us quickly. We got a selection of food, kid friendly options and banquet option, very well priced. The food was quick, hot and sooo good! The set menu was a great option, it was good value for money; plenty of food, and was delicious. Plenty of options including vegetarian and other dietary requirements.
