Understand that with the theft problem in places, security is needed. But think about it; you go to a chemist and it may be of a very personal nature with the customer not wanting what they bought to be scrutinised by more then the sales teller. So when the security opened the bag, looks at the receipt it’s very in your space and can be embarrassing. Surely if the teller puts it in a bag, that’s enough?nChemist should be a safe private place for people to seek advice and meds with out Joe blogs security guard checking the name and item before you can leave.
the store is pretty good staff are helpful. The doorman is very friendly and helpful. He is great at handling any situation coming to him! 10/10 bro.
Taupo is quite a small town, so I thought the Chemist Warehouse would be quite small. I was very surprised by how large it was and how comprehensive their range. Everything there, plus helpful staff who can look up a parallel product, if they don't have the exact same brand name.nVery pleased.nThank you Chemist Warehouse.

It’s not like us to leave a negative review, but my mum had the worst customer service experience at this store. Prior to Christmas she purchased a bottle of perfume which was broken, and when she returned it within an hour, the lady in customer services accused her of dropping the bottle and wasn’t going to exchange it. My mum was humiliated by the way this person spoke to her in front of a line of other customers and found the experience quite traumatising. This person urgently needs retraining in customer services, or perhaps a new job that does not deal with lovely locals. Two stars because your products are still generally ok.
