Poor customer service, horrible place to find anything, extremely tight. Come on, Chemise Warehouse, build up a floor or something. The manager today couldn’t even serve and spoke to the assistant manager over the phone to instruct on a refund, as we needed to return unused items within seven days, warranted and fully sealed products. The assistant manager tried to say they don’t usually do that, pointing at the receipt which clearly states they do returns, refunds, or exchanges for anything purchased within 7 days and returned as new. Evidently, they need more training on refund policies and customer service. 9/10 Not a happy experience. Especially today.
I've visited several Chemist Warehouses in the past, but this particular location stands out as the worst. While I typically rate other stores 4 or 5 stars, my experience here was quite disappointing. The staff seemed to lack basic customer service skills - they were rude, unhelpful, and surprisingly difficult to locate as they appeared to actively avoid assisting customers. There's a definite need for improvement in their approach to customer service.
Unfortunately not a good rating. Told to go here for a script, handed it in, given a beeper thing, tried to wander the store for other things, but there were soooo many staff out stocking shelves, setting up end aisles etc, I ended up getting beyond frustrated that I couldn't take two steps without having to dodge an employee so I gave up, went and sat on the chairs instead to wait. After half an hour waiting for my script, I ended up asking, thinking surely the buzzer must be broken, but no, they were still packing my script, however, they couldn't supply one item at all & told me to go to another chemist, another item they only part filled & told me to come back as they had run out. So half an hour to find out I had to go to another chemist to get part of it filled and have to go back for the remaining half of one of the items they did fill. If I have to go elsewhere for one item, I would have rather been given the option to take the entire prescription to an alternative pharmacy. But seriously, the amount of workers who made no effort to allow customers to browse while waiting, did my head in. This wasn't only a couple of aisles either, it was just about every aisle & if you have been there, some of their aisles are that narrow, there's no real room for people to walk past someone else. I heard others say the same thing while there too. Plus if a script is going to take half an hour or more to fill, let the customer know so they can choose to go elsewhere to wait, or just go elsewhere full stop. Never had a script take that long before. Won't be doing scripts here again.
Very disappointed, lack of customer service. boy at checkout is rude doesn’t know how to serve, put my stuff all over the place.nNo thank you no hello, he kept banging the bell. Better have training before come to the floor.
I’m not one to leave bad reviews but, some of your staff need customer service training. I asked if you accept bayfair gift cards and the lady who was serving me said yes they do but she doesn’t know how to do it and was quite rude about making it seem like it was my issue? She got someone to help her but it wasn’t a great experience. Think I’ll stick to Bethlehem store!
