Estate agents have a reputation as we all know, and when you meet them they are polite but you know they are there to make money. Doug and his team are very different, very genuine and really really look after their clients! We bought the property 11 years ago through Chattertons through Doug and sold it through them so we can say that we have seen both sides of the coin. Great communications and very pleasant to deal with, cannot fault them! The last 3 months the property market has turn, rising interest rates, roller coaster stock market helped by Liz Trust. I don’t normally write reviews. Having said that I felt that the service I got from Chattertons estate agents was so exceptionally good that I would have to write a few words. The team at Chattertons, Doug, Janet and Tracy are able to balance friendliness and efficiency. It is very rare these days to have a phone call answered, a promise to call back kept and all questions answered. I cannot recommend this firm more highly.
Have used Doug at chattertons for both buying and selling and the last house I sold with him was a real stressful and lengthy process but Doug was brilliant and always patient and supportive.
