Lovely place to stay! The cottage is old, but very clean and the host is a delight! When we arrived the fridge was filled with fresh food, eggs from her own chickens and she even brought us home made cake and bread!nWhen we where there it was still quite cold at night, but the cottage has a working fireplace you can use.nPlus the view from the hills are amazing, the sunsets are beautiful!nHighly recommend going there when you spend time in the coromandel area.
Best place to stay if you decide to go to coromandel. Views beautiful and the breakfast is beyond expectations. My husband and I surely enjoyed our stay , Pauline and Denise make you feel right at home , we will surely go back sometime soon.
Hubby and I came for our babymoon and it was truly made special by Chartre Manor! They were extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and it's an absolutely beautiful place. They obviously take pride in their service and enjoy it. Best getaway ever!
Wonderful place to stay. Views spectacular, hosts Pauline & Dennis don't just run this place, they care for you. They booked our sightseeing trips to to the railway & flat bottomed boat, way beyond the call of duty. If I started to add more praise I would not be able to stop.
What an absolute gem of a place, great accommodation and the hosts went out of their way to make my stay extremely comfortable. Only wish I could have stayed longer.
