No visit to Christchurch is complete without an ice cream at "Ice Cream Charlies". As a long established business in Christchurch, the service and quality are professional and consistent.

They only have vanilla ice cream and we couldn’t finish it. we got 4 cups. Three of them with chocolate sauce, but it wasn’t great. try another place

This place gives dogs free 'ice creams' But this place doesn't serve ice cream. It serves vanilla ice, and it's gross. If I went and scraped the back of my freezer I'd get something way more delicious. I thought we had moved on from the cheap, gross, things that people put into their mouths in the 80s.

Really gone downhill! Been going here since I was 8yrs old .... new owners AGAIN!!! Staff are so so so slow, miserable with the choc chips ... was told 29yr old "entrepunour" bought it from his staff! ... come on! Bring back the chch icecream icon... the good old way!
