I didn't use it but in our 30 minute stop I saw 3 cars come and use it and leave. All seemed happy that they had somewhere to plug into while shopping at the bakery for something to eat.
Good location in the park and the wonderful Red Post Cafe just across the road. In good working order on 25 Jan 2024
Been here many times on my way from Christchurch to Hanmer.
Ran into numerous disconnections and failure to charge, long wait on the helpline. After about 10 attempts it stabilised and charged a substantial amount, bit of a pain but close to a decent cafe for brunch.
Very convenient, lovely cafe across the road.
