This charging station is either right before or right after the Brynderwyn Hills depending on weather you are heading North or South. It's a perfect place to recharge prior to your battery taking a beating on the hill, or right after it has taken a beating on the hill.nnIt's rated at 50kwh, and has a CHAdeMO and a CCS plug. The car park is close to the state highway and easy to get into.nnWhile you are charging if you cross the road and walk south there is a number of food and coffee shops at the top of the hill. Note there is an underpass you can use under the bridge you can use to get across the state highway.nnIf you are heading South the next station is at BP Warkworth, and being a Vector charging station, is currently free.nIf you are heading North there is a new charging station being added early 2021 at the Waipu Museum.
For some electric vehicles, like my Hyundai Ioniq, the CCS-2 cable is a bit too short for angle parking.
Worked fine, someone has been careless with the cables when I got there, tangled and not slotted in but it all worked!
