Through the range of expertise and activities, the CSC enables informed thought and helps develop skills of critical thinking.
The Roadshow team travels the country and works with Intermediate and high school students to facilitate a space in which they can engage thoughtfully and critically with issues emerging from the intersection of science, technology and everyday life.
At an appropriate level our work involves philosophically unpacking the assumptions that underlie our thinking about these issues in order to understand and better shape our responses to them. Through such community engagement we aim to foster the skills of active and thoughtful citizenship.
