Great museum, hands on activities, large on the inside, lovely staff, great price, loved it
This is a nice reprieve from driving, not only do you get to stretch the legs you get see the heritage of the central Hawkes bay. This is also like the Doctor's Tardis it feels bigger on the inside than outside. Filled with wonders of yesteryear. If out cruising SH2 call in it is worth it.

Lots of exhibits detailing early CHB life. Very interesting place. Loved the "hands on" section!
WOW!!!! better than expected. Only paid $5 for 2 kids and 1 adult. So very reasonable. Wide variety of incredible things from past history. My 2 boys had great fun with interaction pieces, we sat on horse buggy, and there was a free quiz page printed to do also a big vault too. Two lovely gentleman with a wealth of knowledge on hand.... THANK YOU
