Established in 2005 Cedar Doctor are an experienced team that refurbish external Cedar cladding, shingles, garage and entrance doors, and timber decks.

Amazing service, I sent photos of my manky looking front door that I couldn't get any painter to touch - it wasn't cedar but that didn't matter turned out to be Rimu they said they could refurbish it. They managed to fit me in before Xmas at a really busy time of the year which was amazing. They scraped it right back to the bare wood and once they had it looking pretty good, they then applied Dryden wood stain. I was a bit worried about how it would turn out as it had quite a lot of weathering after 25 years, despite being under a covered carport. I didn't need to worry at all, the door has come up better than new and we are really really pleased with the result. Totally recommend Cedar Doctors.

Fantastic service from Martin and the team at Cedar Doctors. We were apprehensive about selecting the right company to assess and rejuvenate our precious cedar weatherboards. Martin's site-visit and subsequent knowledge and advice instantly put our minds at ease. Cedar Doctor's flexibility around scheduling meant work could begin while roofers were also onsite .. minimising our scaffolding costs. Hans and his crew were careful, considerate and meticulous in their preparation and application of our chosen product. Our house now looks fabulous ..!! Cedar Doctors were easy to deal with throughout the entire process .. and we feel we got superb value for money given the result. Thank you guys. After a long search for a cedar work company, we found Cedar Doctor NZ to refinish our tired 21-year-old garage door, gate, front doors and surrounding cedar woodwork. Their refinishing and staining work is immaculate. Cedar Shading is perfect. Despite Covid challenges, this company stuck to their scheduling and always lived up to our hopes and expectations.
Martin and the team from Cedar Doctors did a fantastic job on my house’s cedar restoration. I don’t think it has look this good since I bought it 15 years ago, and other companies have cleaned and oiled it in that time! They provided excellent service from beginning to end, great communication and recommendations. My next door neighbour has already been over to ask me who did the work so he can hire them for his house!
We were recommended to Cedar Doctor NZ by a neighbour who had had the cedar on their house treated and we were impressed with it. Our cedar had badly deteriorated over time and the Cedar Doctor tradesmen did a wonderful job! They had a real problem with the weather but kept us well informed as to when they could come. They were very pleasant, experienced, knowledgeable and cheerful men who worked extremely hard when weather permitted and we are absolutely delighted with the result.
