OK as climbing gos, I'm loving the cattle stop area , also there is the lyttelton crag side to enjoy ! I think the climbs are well maintained and there are so many different grades to choose from ! The views are stunning and it's a beautiful place to be on a sunny day .
Always a great crag. Lots of well bolted easy to moderate routes. Very nice and warm in winter.
It has a nice view of the city. When you go accross the road you will have a nice view of the bays and lyttleton. The other part of the road here is closed but you can enter it for a walk. There is a 5-7 minute walk track here going to the Gondola if you wanna have coffee or lunch up there and it has a better view of Christchurch. There are sheep on the side of the hill which give the view more amazing.
Really fun rock climbing there, where I was climbing it went from grade 12 to 21.
Just an amazing view from the top of the hill over a part of Christchurch! nAnd absolutely wonderful nature all over around!!!nHighly recommended to visit...
