The Catholic Parish of New Plymouth serves the north Taranaki area as a very vibrant, multi-cultural church under the Diocese of Palmerston North.
In 2015, the parishes of St Patrick's Okato, St Joseph's New Plymouth, St Philomena's Brooklands and Our Lady Help of Christians, Fitzroy (incorporating Bell Block church) reunited to form one parish, the Catholic Parish of New Plymouth. Together we serve the community and parishioners of the north Taranaki area as a people of faith and serving the gospel.
Our priests are Fr Simon Story (Parish Priest) and Fr Tom Lawn (Assistant).
