Lovely, friendly service from Silas. Room was fabulous for a stay with our dog. Only dog related suggestion would be to block off the back patio so the dog can't wander through into the neighbors back patio! Only a problem for us cos our dog is deaf tho! Access to lake is absolutely excellent. Pool and spa are lovely. Highlight is really how friendly Silas is though, such a friendly smile and hello every time he sees you.
This motel has a great little kids playground with a trampoline, the swimming pool is a good size but both days we were there the water was... Lukewarm. Only lasted 5 minutes in the water before we were trembling. The spa is very hot, so kids couldn't go in there either. We were given The Loft. It was tidy and had good heating, warm shower, but there were ants in the toilet and shower. The Loft was up a circular stairs to get up, and then there was another set of very narrow stairs to get up to the single bed bedrooms. A little pokey and awkward, but kind owners.
Wonderfully laid out family rooms for groups, with a sleeping loft and outdoor terraces. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and provided excellent tips on the local sites. We extended our stay due to the convenience, hospitality, and comfort of the lodging.Rooms: 5/5
We have stayed here before which was great and always appreciate a motel that is dog friendly. Pros- The staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect for a quiet night sleep. The bed sheets, bathroom & kitchen was very clean. However this property lets itself down with the lack of maintenance of furniture, curtains, windows, & paint. This could easily be solved but it feels like the owners aren’t prioritising this which is a shame. Probably wouldn’t stay again unless this changes.
Fantastic place right on the beach of the lake. The dog freindly family unit was roomy enough for us with our teenage kids and our springer. A small patio with private bbq was perfect for a quiet dinner before the sunset. Silas is a superb host and very helpful. Our dog was sad to leave. Definitely coming back. Nearby activities: Paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, all available to hire in the motel. Nice pool and spa. Playground for the little ones. Food & drinks: Few minute walk to the sailing club for cocktails and pizza. It gets busy, so be prepared to share a table and a bit of a wait for the pizza.

The most loveliest front of house staff/owner/manager I have encountered in a long time, very accommodating, friendly, helpful , our unit was very clean sunny and everything we needed, spa pool and outdoor pool we well used and so enjoyed, the location so close to lake was perfect, highly recommend and would definitely stay again
