Hi, I'm Ryan Ward, owner of the Carter's Tyre's store in Te Awamutu. Before moving to the Waikato I spent many years with Bridgestone, Goodyear/Dunlop, Honda and Continental Cars in Auckland. We specialize in tyres for Cars,Trucks,Tractors,Farm equipment and offer a 24hr callout service throughout NZ. We have all the latest wheel alignment and balancing gear and know how to use it properly! Everyone is welcome at Carters!

Couldn't be any happier. Being extremely mindful of the winter conditions coming. I contacted the team and booked Tyre and Wheel Balance. I was on the phone for work and the guys came and got started on my car. Excellent service and excellent prices. Highly recommend
Scam! Beware! This place has advertised wheel alignment charges as from 49$ for 'cars'. I believe toyota camry is just a 'car' charged me 59$, when asked 49$ is for 'normal cars'! Thir website clearly mentioned that from 59$ for 4x4s only. Shame on you guys. Next time put an advertisement as 'Wheel alignment from $1' and tell the customer that 1$ alignment is for hotwheel toy cars!
Price shows $49 but they charge $59. It's a false advertisement, misleading!
Highly recommend Ryan and the team at Carters. Called for a price on SUV tyres and they were able to give me a range of options to fit my budget. Booked to have them fitted the following day. Tyres turned up and were fitted ahead of time. Stoked with the service and their efficiency.
The best tyre shop in Te Awamutu, always helpful, nice waiting room. Tyres bought here get puncture repairs and rotation all part of the service. Bottom line, they stand by their work and the quality tyres they supply.
Great service with a smile. Very helpful staff member promptly got my tyre sized up and quoted on the spot late afternoon. Got a great price on a new replacement tyre. Fitted and ready to go in no time. Would definitely be going back. Excellent service
Found a nail in my partners tyre 45 minutes before her driving test. Shot down to Carters and they stopped what they were doing and helped me out big time. Very grateful and will be back in the future.
