Poor product sold to us and a terrible attitude from Floor Store Direct Floor Store Direct laid for us its top of the line Kardean 'luxury' wood-look flooring plank. It won't stay clean – ends up looking smeared and dirty immediately after cleaning. You only have to walk on it again when it is dry for this to start. Looks bad all the time. We tried a lot with Floor Store to correct this problem, but ultimately wanted the flooring refunded and removed. No deal. Bob MacAvoy, the owner, blamed us. He said that it was our cleaning or excessive use of cleaning products at fault we followed all instructions and used only Karndean or recommended products. Sadly we had to take Mr MacAvoy and Floor Store Direct to the Disputes Tribunal this week. It shouldn't have come to this, as clearly we were sold a shoddy product. However, it went our way. Prior to the hearing I asked Mr MacAvoy not to put us through this as we have a family member seriously ill, but he made us go ahead anyway.

We recently asked The Floor Store on short notice to install vinyl flooring in one of our commercial projects in Silverstream. The staff members were very pleasant to deal with, and Tim the installer did an exceptional job. Overall we are very pleased with how professional they were, and we will always consider them first for our next upcoming projects. Very pleased with the work. 5/5 Mike, Izodom Homes LTD
