What a great playground, so much to do here and so much for the kids to play on and explore. Was a great stop for the kids to stretch their legs while on a big road trip. Kids didn’t want to leave which is always a great sign. So much to do for my little 2yo up to my 7yo. Spent a good 1.5hours here and was more then I wanted to stop for but the kids were having too much fun. Love how the upgrade of the playground includes the old school play equipment with also the new. Definitely will be back and will make it a normal stop for us when on the road.
One of my favourite cities in New Zealand. Caroline Bay rated in the top ten beaches with an amazing adventure playground which has a replica of the original lighthouse, shipwreck, dolphin and partially submerged crates in the make believe water. Plaque provides history of the lighthouse and early shipping to Timaru.
Fantastic playground. Keeps the kids entertained for hours. Hard to drag them away!
The bay playground is amazing, featuring play areas for children of all ages, including swings, slides, climbing structures, swimming pools, music areas, and more. Also features numerous sheltered areas with permanent barbecues, perfect for family cookouts. One of the best playgrounds I have been to with my daughter.
We loved it. Nice variety of playground equipment and a vibrant atmosphere. Although all equipment was still in pretty good shape I saw some sign that they were planning renovations here. Other places in the area can use modernization a bit harder in my opinion
