THE CARDRONA VILLAGE MARKETS - EVERY SUNDAY IN SUMMER FROM 10AM TIL 2PM ... Down by the riverside & opp the Cardrona Hotel.

Welcome to the first season of the Cardrona Village Markets! The Cardrona Village Markets is a locally run market selling fresh local produce, hand made goods such as arts and crafts. and anything else anyone may like to sell! The markets will be held on a weekly basis during summer over a seven week trial period in 2013/2014, and if all goes well will be back after Labour Weekend in Summer 2014!

We would personally like to thank the 2 ladies who were recently working at the General store when we visited. We were Facetiming our daughter who was with our beloved four legged friend. He had become very sick, very quickly and unexpectedly had to be laid to rest. The coffee was great but more importantly the concern, attention and hug was gratefully received. When we return to Melbourne we will always remember the Cardrona General Store. Thank you so much, Colin and Maryn.
Quaint store in the heart of Cardrona. Friendly and accomodating lady served me with my coffee order. The coffee was fabulous! They sell random interesting stuff here which gave this place a bit of character.Food: 5/5

Great little store and cafe. Hostess was a charming woman, who also owns the store/cafe. My wife and I shared a peppered beef pie, a latte, but each got our own ice cream. All great tasting. The store has some essentials, but also sells tourist items like scented soaps. We bought a round ceramic semi-flat dish with ferns painted/glazed on the top to help us remember New Zealand; we plan to use it for a cooking spoon tray at our lake cabin.
